Top 14 club Bordeaux-Begles has revealed that an integral member in France’s formidable tight five has been ruled out of the Six Nations.
Prop Sipili Falatea was Thursday ruled out of the competition due to a serious knee injury which will sideline him for “several months”, Bordeaux announced.

The 26-year-old, who has been capped 14 times and featured in the French squad at last year’s World Cup, ruptured ligaments in his right knee during a training session, the club told AFP.
France start their Six Nations campaign on 2 February against defending champions Ireland in Marseille.
