Blue Bulls prop Dean Greyling has been cited following his side's 41-13 loss to the Golden Lions in the Currie Cup.
Greyling will appear before a Saru disciplinary committee on Wednesday after being cited under law 10.4 (b), that states ‘a player must not stamp or trample on an opponent’.
The incident in question involved Lions prop Jacques van Rooyen and happened in the 69th minute of the match at Ellis Park.
With Morné Mellett still suffering with a knee injury, a suspension will be a further setback for Frans Ludeke and the Bulls, after his side struggled in the scrums against the Lions this past weekend.
