Sunday newspaper Rapport suggests that the Bok coaching staff face mounting uncertainty as they await fresh insight on Kleyn’s fitness.
A stable in the world champions’ Bomb Squad since his debut in 2023, the seven-Test Kleyn is still sidelined by severe eye and knee injuries.

The 30-year-old former Ireland international has sought specialist treatment in the US, yet remains doubtful for the June and July Tests as well as the Rugby Championship.
Adding to Erasmus’s woes, De Jager last week exited the Japan League One final with a knee injury, casting a shadow over his readiness to face Ireland next month.
After missing the last year’s Rugby World Cup due to a heart condition, the Japan 2019 hero had returned to form with the Wild Knights.
