Israel Folau will return at fullback and Kurtley Beale will start at flyhalf for the Wallabies against the Springboks in Brisbane on Saturday.

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has named Folau to start at No 15 this week. The call sees Dayne Haylett-Petty shifting to wing and Jack Maddocks dropping to the bench.

According to reports in Australia, however, there is still a chance that Folau could miss the game against the Boks due to an ankle injury. The good news for the hosts is that David Pocock appears to have recovered from his neck ailment and will start this Saturday.

Cheika has made a big call to back Beale at No 10 and drop his premier pivot and goal-kicker Bernard Foley to the bench. Matt Toomua will replace Beale at No 12.

The other change to the run-on side sees Rory Arnold starting at lock.

Wallabies – 15 Israel Folau, Dane Haylett-Petty, 13 Reece Hodge, 12 Matt Toomua, 11 Marika Koroibete, 10 Kurtley Beale, 9 Will Genia, 8 David Pocock, 7 Michael Hooper (c), 6 Lukhan Tui, 5 Adam Coleman, 4 Rory Arnold, 3 Allan Alaalatoa, 2 Tatafu Polota-Nau, 1 Scott Sio.
Subs: 16 Folau Faingaa, 17 Tom Robertson, 18 Taniela Tupou, 19 Izack Rodda, 20 Ned Hanigan, 21 Joe Powell, 22 Bernard Foley, 23 Jack Maddocks.
