Jake takes step back

Brad Macleod-Henderson will coach the Sharks in the Currie Cup this year.

Sean Everitt and Paul Anthony will be his assistants.

Sharks director of rugby Jake White, who is effectively the head coach of the Super Rugby side, said he wanted to 'take a step back' from coaching the senior side and allow for progression and evolution among a young coaching staff at the union.

During this period White will spend most of his time with the U19 and U21 teams.

Deon Kayser and Albert van den Berg, who are head coach and assistant coach of the Vodacom Cup team respectively, will also coach the U21s.

The U19 coaching team will be headed by James Fleming and he will be assisted by Butch James and Ryan Strudwick.
