Kings in last chance saloon

The EP Kings have made five changes for their final Currie Cup match of the season against the Pumas in Port Elizabeth on Friday.

The Kings are without a win this season. They sit bottom of the log, with no chance of catching those above them. Friday's match at the Nelson Mandela Stadium will be their last opportunity to pick up a victory this season.

Having gone down comprehensively in Kimberley last time out, Carlos Spencer has made a number of changes to his side.

Up front, CJ van der Linde and Charles Marais drop out, with BG Uys and Simon Kerrod replacing them in the front row. Charl du Plessis and Lizo Gqoboka will provide backup on the bench.

Darron Nell returns to the second row and will captain the side, with young Cameron Lindsay moving across to the No 5 jersey, while Steven Cummins drops to the bench. Steven Sykes is still struggling with a knee injury and misses out altogether.

The final changes come among the backs, where Scott van Breda returns at fullback and Siviwe Soyizwapi shifts to left wing.
