Steven Kitshoff can’t wait to lock horns with Springbok skipper Siya Kolisi when the double World Cup winners clash in the Champions Cup on Saturday.
The 83-Test loosehead prop will pack down for Ulster against Kolisi’s Racing 92 in their second-round match of the EPCR tournament in Belfast.
Dan McFarland’s charges have lost their last three games, but this week’s duel at Kingspan Stadium will present Kitshoff with a real opportunity to find form, in a battle against fellow Boks Kolisi and Trevor Nyakane.

“I’m quite excited to see Siya,” Kitshoff, who was also teammates with former Sharks captain Kolisi at the DHL Stormers, told BBC Sport in the buildup to the match.
“It looks like he’s been settling in very well in Paris, so I’m very happy for him. He’s been an exceptional leader for the Boks for the last four or five years.
“What he accomplished with his ACL tear and then being back within four months and leading the team the way he did was exceptional.
“I’m extremely proud of the person he’s become and I’m looking forward to bashing him a bit this weekend!”
