Springbok skipper and loose forward Siya Kolisi looks set to stick with the Sharks for the remainder of his career.
The 2019 World Cup-winning captain has signed a new long-term deal that will keep him in Durban until 2027.
Kolisi will be 36 by that time and ostensibly finish his career at the coastal franchise. He joined the Sharks in 2021 after starting out professionally with Western Province and the Stormers.
The 61-Test-capped loose forward is the latest Bok to extend his stay with the Sharks this week, after fellow World Cup heroes Makazole Mapimpi and Lukhanyo Am.
They will be starting against Ulster as Sean Everitt’s men look to secure a home playoff in Friday’s crucial Vodacom United Rugby Championship clash.
