The Cheetahs made injury-enforced changes for the do-or-die Challenge Cup match against French outfit Section Paloise in Parma on Sunday evening.
Following back-to-back defeats to the Scarlets, the Cheetahs returned to their base in Parma for the final-round match against Pau, which kicks-off at 5.15pm.
The Cheetahs are currently in seventh place on the table, tied with Pau on six points, and need a win to progress to the Challenge Cup playoffs.
Two changes to the team are injury-enforced, as Daniel Maartens replaces Sibabalo Qoma (ankle) in the back row, with Roelof Smit coming onto the bench as a result.
In the backline, a late injury to Reinhardt Fortuin (calf injury) sees Robert Ebersohn, originally named on the bench, called into the starting lineup. Evardi Boshoff is promoted to a role among the substitutes.
A final change sees Andell Loubser and Tapiwa Mafura switch places with Mafura starting at fullback.
