Leinster cruised to a 37-19 victory against Wasps to finish top of Pool 1 and progress to the European Champions Cup quarter-finals, while Toulouse also won on Sunday.
The defending champions showed their class as they blitzed the Wasps defence to earn a home playoff. They will join Toulouse, Munster, Saracens, the Glasgow Warriors, Racing 92, Ulster and Edinburgh in the last eight.
A brace from hooker Sean Cronin to go with tries to centre Gary Ringrose and replacement flyhalf Noel Reid, who also added a conversion and a last-minute penalty, saw Leinster take what became an unassailable lead, despite Wasps hitting back with a flurry of tries in the second half.
The Coventry-based side will be disappointed with their efforts in Europe as they finished bottom of Pool 1, with a draw against Bath their only positive result this season.
Meanwhile, Toulouse were made to work hard at home against Bath as the hosts hung on for a 20-17 victory that ensured their progress to the next round.
A rather one-sided first half saw Toulouse go into the break 17-3 ahead, thanks to scores from Joe Tekori and scrumhalf Antoine Dupont.
However, Bath nearly turned the game on its head in the final half-hour as first wing Semesa Rokoduguni went over before Zach Mercer made a nervous finish with his try, bringing the visitors to within four points of a lead with just five minutes to go.
The quarter-final fixtures, scheduled to take place from 29 March, will see two derbies when Racing 92 face Toulouse, while Leinster take on Irish rivals Ulster. Edinburgh will host Munster, and the impressive Saracens, who were the first team through to the playoffs, are up against the Glasgow Warriors.
