The Lions have included two Junior Springboks among seven players called up from their most recent Currie Cup team to the Vodacom United Rugby Championship squad that will travel to Dublin to face Leinster on Friday.
Looking for their first win of 2022, the Lions take on eight-time champions Leinster at the RDS Arena on Friday evening.
The Lions announced the squad to make the trip to Ireland, which includes a large number of players who featured in the 43-31 Currie Cup loss to the Sharks at Ellis Park.
Loose forwards Emmanuel and Vincent Tshituka, Sibusiso Sangweni, lock PJ Steenkamp and prop JP Smith have all been included.
There are also two Junior Springboks in the squad: fullback Quan Horn and scrumhalf Nico Steyn.
Willem Alberts, Pieter Jansen van Vuren, Reinhard Nothnagel and Ruhan Straeuli are all unavailable for selection due to injury.
Veteran Springbok prop Jannie du Plessis, scrumhalf Andre Warner and flyhalf Fred Zeilinga will also remain in Johannesburg.
