Head coach Mziwakhe Nkosi has re-jigged the Lions starting XV to face the Free State Cheetahs at Ellis Park in the Currie Cup on Sunday.
Loosehead prop Morgan Naude and lock Raynard Roets slot back into the run-on lineup, while Jurich Claasens gets a start at flyhalf, with Vaughen Isaacs moving to fullback.
Also, scrumhalf Andre Warner makes a return after injury and is in line to feature off the bench.
The Lions are fresh from a second bonus-point comeback win in as many weeks in Johannesburg – the Jaco Visagie-led Pride got the better of the Sharks 34-22 last week – but the Cheetahs will want to make up for a 61-21 defeat to defending champions, the Pumas, at Free State Stadium.
