Francke Horn leads a massive pack of 19 players who have signed new contracts with the Lions until the end of the 2024-25 Vodacom URC season.
The Lions on Tuesday afternoon announced that a host of stars have decided to extend their stay at Ellis Park until 2025 in a huge boost to the union.
No 8 Horn, who has shot onto the scene as a contender for Springbok colours over the past two seasons, is one of 13 forwards to put pen to paper on contract extensions.
Loose forwards Ruan Venter, Ruhan Straueli and Renzo du Plessis, locks Reinhard Nothnagel, Raynard Roets and Ruan Delport, hookers PJ Botha and Morne Brandon and props Asenathi Ntlabakanye and Morgan Naude have also signed on.
In the backs, Lions fans can look forward to seeing more of Edwill van der Merwe’s try-scoring wizardry as well as the out-and-out pace of Rabz Maxwane, fullback Quan Horn’s massive boot and centre Marius Louw’s big tackles.
