The Sale Sharks have officially announced the signing of Vodacom Bulls lock Lood de Jager on a three-year contract.
De Jager will arrive in Manchester ahead of the 2019-20 Premiership season, or if selected, after the 2019 World Cup in Japan.
The 26-year-old was named as the Bulls’ captain for this year’s Vodacom Super Rugby season, but has been out since February with a shoulder injury.
