Muller to make debut for Mohoje-led Cheetahs

19-year-old winger Marcell Muller will make his first start for the Cheetahs in their final Preparation Series fixture against the EP Elephants in Bloemfontein on Sunday.

The former Grey College pupil joined the Cheetahs last year after a short stint in France with Montpellier, who he had joined after school.

Muller is a highly-rated wing, weighing in as 102kg and 1.87m and can run the 100m in 11.1 seconds.

Also making his debut is fellow former Grey College student and loose forward Gideon van Wyk, who has been named on the bench, while former Kings prop Alulutho Tsakweni will make his first start.

The team will be captained by Oupa Mohoje.
