The Lions have confirmed the acquisitions of Bulls lock Marvin Orie and Western Province prop Sti Sithole.

Besides the arrivals of Orie and Sithole, Johannes Jonker (prop, Border), Aphiwe Diyantyi (wing, UJ) and Dean Gordon (wing, Raiders) will also be joining the Johannesburg-based team.

However, the Lions also announced that the following players would be leaving the union: Marnitz Boshoff, Martin Muller, MB Lusaseni, JW Bell, Stef de Witt, Ruaan Lerm and Ramone Samuels.
