Ospreys scored three tries in the last 10 minutes to come from behind and beat the Lions in the Challenge Cup match at Ellis Park on Sunday.
The Lions relinquished a four-point lead at half time to go down 38-28 against Ospreys.
Needing a win to make the last 16, Ospreys came out guns blazing as inside centre Owen Watkin scored the first try of the afternoon before the Lions hit back through captain Marius Louw, who finished off scrumhalf Sanele Nohamba’s sublime chip kick.

Outside centre George North scored Ospreys’ second try, but Lions flank JC Pretorius powered across the whitewash, and Louw doubled up to secure an 18-14 lead at the break.
Nohamba extended the Lions’ lead to seven early in the second half before replacement scrumhalf Morne van den Berg’s opportunistic tap-and-go resulted in the hosts’ fourth try.
But the visitors’ grit and determination bore fruit in the closing 10 minutes as Ospreys pounced on Lions errors to score three quick-fire tries courtesy of winger Keelan Giles, replacement scrumhalf Cameron Jones, and No 8 Morgan Morse to snatch their first victory at Ellis Park.
