Two World Cup-winning Springboks could be back in Premiership action this weekend, as Leicester Tigers look to recover from a poor start to the season.
The Tigers have confirmed that flyhalf Handre Pollard and No 8 Jasper Wiese rejoined their club teammates in training on Monday, following the Boks’ four-day World Cup trophy tour.

After recovering from a calf injury which ruled him out of South Africa’s first three pool matches at the World Cup, Pollard returned in the final pool game against Tonga and played off the bench in the quarter-final and semi-final, before starting in the final against New Zealad
Wiese, meanwhile, played in all four pool games, starting three, but was left out of the matchday squads that took on France and England, before being called onto the bench against the All Blacks, playing the final eight minutes in Paris.

Both Springboks are back in the selection frame for the Tigers, who have struggled without their South African and Engish internationals, losing three of their first four games of the season.
Leicester are in action on Saturday when they host second-placed Harlequins.
