South African coach Pote Human has been slapped with a lengthy ban after a fight with an opposing coach in Major League Rugby in the US.
The incident took place during a match between the Houston Sabercats and Rugby New York.
Human, who coaches the Houston Sabercats, was, according to a social media post, incensed by New York high-performance coach Ollie Richardson’s berating of Houston’s players during a water break.

The former Blue Bulls coach stormed onto the field to protect his players and got into a confrontation with Richardson, leading to both being ejected from the game.
In a statement on its website, Major League Rugby said Human and Richardson were both hit with six-week suspensions following an investigation to determine the necessary disciplinary steps to be taken.
Both coaches will also be forced to pay a fine and required to do community service. and they will only be allowed back at match-day activities on 18 June.
