The Vodacom Bulls scored nine tries as they crushed Scarlets at Loftus Versfeld in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship on Sunday.
Johan Goosen was flawless off the tee as the Bulls scored four tries in the first half and five after the break to record a massive 63-21 win over Scarlets.
The Bulls physically dominated Scarlets in the opening exchanges and it reflected on the scoreboard as lock Ruan Nortje crossed the line before hard-running No 8 Cameron Hanekom dotted down twice.

The Bulls came out firing in the second half as outside centre David Kriel crashed over before replacement back Stedman Gans scored a double to extend the hosts’ lead to 49-14 with 20 minutes left on the clock.
An exciting piece of play as Stedman Gans exploits a gap in midfield and and goes in for his second try of the match!

Tries from replacement hooker Akker van der Merwe and winger Wandisile Simelane added to Scarlets’ woes, but there was some consolation in the form of Plumtree’s second try of the afternoon to bring a dominant Bulls performance to a close.
