Reds reshuffle backline

Karmichael Hunt will start at 13 for the Reds in a new-look backline to face the Rebels in Brisbane on Friday.

Hunt has recovered from an adductor strain and will make his first start at outside centre since switching to rugby union. Elsewhere among the backline James O'Connor and Lachie Turner have switched positions, with the former moving to fullback, while Samu Kerevi will start at inside centre.

The final change sees the introduction of 21-year-old rookie Jake McIntyre, who will make his Vodacom Super Rugby debut at flyhalf.

McIntyre, a member of the Brisbane City's NRC title-winning side, will replace Nick Frisby, who has been bracketed on the bench after suffering a head knock in the defeat against the Crusaders last weekend.
