Munster have been boosted in their quest to dethrone the DHL Stormers by the return of Springbok lock RG Snyman for the Vodacom United Rugby Championship final on Saturday.
Snyman, who suffered a concussion in the quarter-final win over Glasgow Warriors, is among the four players who missed the semi-final against Leinster confirmed to be fit for the grand final in Cape Town.
The 28-year-old second rower was influential when Munster claimed an upset victory to end the Stormers’ winning streak at home last month, which was his first Vodacom URC start of the season.
Along with Snyman, Munster have also welcomed back centre Malakai Fekitoa, veteran scrumhalf Conor Murray and outside back Calvin Nash from return-to-play protocols.
The four players have been included in a 30-player squad that will depart for Cape Town on Monday and arrive on Tuesday.
Former Stormers lock Jean Kleyn and Irish flyhalf Ben Healy have also been included in the squad, as they are due to complete return-to-play protocols this week after being removed during the semi-final.
Munster will name their matchday-23 for the final on Friday afternoon.
