Richardson set to make Scotland debut

Sharks flank Dylan Richardson has been named in the Scotland squad for this weekend’s Test match against Japan at Murrayfield.

Richardson was one of four South Africans called up to Scotland’s squad for the November Test matches, but was not included in the match-day 23 for the Tests against Australia and the Springboks.

However, the 23-year-old former Junior Springbok has been named on the bench for Saturday’s Test between Scotland and Japan.

Scotland coach Gregor Townsend has made a total of seven changes to his side, as they look to bounce back from the 30-15 loss to the Springboks.

Jamie Richie and Hamish Watson both start in the back row, while Glasgow prop Jamie Bhatti earns his first Scotland start since August 2019.
