Paarl Gymnasium and SACS were each held to a draw, while Maritzburg College and Boland Landbou claimed historic wins on Saturday as the schools rugby calendar resumed after a short break.
The Premier Interschools match between Paarl Gym and Outeniqua High in George saw the hosts take a 7-0 lead into the break, before Paarl flyhalf Freek de Kock scored a second-half try to snatch a 10-10 draw.
SACS were also held to a draw (22-22) by Durbanville, while the Noordvaal Cup match between Noordheuwel and Waterkloof ended 42-42.

However, it was Boland Landbou and Maritzburg College who made history in their respective matches.
Boland Landbou claimed a 26-22 away victory over Paarl Boys High to win at the Brug Street Stadium for the first time since 2009. The hosts were without a few of their stalwarts, including SA Schools flank Divan Fuller and lock Van Heerden Pretorius.
Maritzburg College put on an attacking masterclass to claim their first win over Affies since 2014 in Pretoria. The visitors won 50-31, with flyhalf Luc du Toit contributing 30 points through a try, five conversions and five penalties.
