Hoerskool Waterkloof produced a second-half blitz to come from behind and beat rivals Monument, securing a place in the Noordvaal Cup semi-finals on Saturday.
Waterkloof trailed 14-5 at half-time, but a clinical second-half performance, including three tries in 10 minutes, gave them a 26-22 victory in the Premier Interschools derby in Pretoria.

The exhilarating clash was played well into overtime, lasting over 74 minutes, with Monument scoring three tries to the Klofies’ four.
Waterkloof’s centre pair of Reuven Ferreira and Riwan van Aswegen – named man of the match – were immense on attack and defence, bagging three of their side’s tries, with Ferreira scoring a brace.
Monument scrumhalf Ceano Everson had a brilliant outing for the visitors, dotting down twice and keeping defenders guessing with his sniping breaks.
The result sees Waterkloof join EG Jansen, Garsfontein and Helpmekaar in the semi-finals of the Noordvaal Cup. Garsfontein finished unbeaten on top of the table with a thrilling 42-36 win against EG Jansen.
