Grey College made it five successive victories against Paarl Boys’ High, as heavyweights Rondebosch and Affies chalked up a W on another weekend of stunning schools rugby.
In the fifth Premier Interschools game of 2023, the monster pack of Grey helped to overpower Boishaai and laid the groundwork for a thrilling 39-30 victory in Paarl.
Flyhalf Ian van der Merwe kicked 11 points and No 8 JJ Theron crossed the whitewash two times in the match as the boys from Bloemfontein outscored their hosts six tries to four at Brug Street Stadium.
