Paarl Gimnasium routed Potchefstroom Gim, as Michaelhouse edged Maritzburg College in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands on another weekend of exciting schools rugby.
Paarl Gim cruised to a one-sided 83-3 victory in the Cape Winelands, while Michaelhouse claimed bragging rights with a 27-20 win over their rivals from Pietermaritzburg.
In Gauteng, Affies, Jeppe and Pretoria Boys’ High triumphed in high-scoring clashes against Helpmekaar, St John’s and Parktown, respectively.
There were also big wins in the Cape for Bishops, Rondebosch, SACS and Wynberg, along with a 55-0 drubbing of Bellville Technical High by Durbanville.
And in action from the Eastern Cape, Dale smashed Port Rex (62-15), and Framesby and Selborne blanked Muir College and Sterling.
