Aphelele Fassi has returned from injury on the left wing in a handful of changes to the Sharks team to tackle the DHL Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday.
Sharks director of rugby Neil Powell has made several changes to last week’s side that lost against Ulster, for the coastal derby at Cape Town Stadium.
The headline change sees Fassi return from a knock, but Boeta Chamberlain has been retained at a fullback, so the Springbok will instead play on the wing in place of Thaakir Abrahams.
Marnus Potgieter has been moved to outside centre, where he will partner Rohan Janse van Rensburg in the other major change to the backline.
The front row is completely rejigged, with Dian Bleuler coming in for Ntuthuko Mchunu and Fez Mbatha and Hanro Jacobs taking over from Dan Jooste and Carlü Sadie respectively.
In the second row, Reniel Hugo makes way for Emile van Heerden, with Henco Venter replacing Dylan Richardson and Sikhumbuzo Notshe starting at eighthman for Phepsi Buthelezi.
