The Sharks piled more misery onto the Vodacom Bulls by claiming a six-try bonus-point victory in a Currie Cup clash at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday evening.
Having already lost in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship quarter-finals to the DHL Stormers, the Vodacom Bulls had a bad day turn worse after a 41-27 home loss to the Sharks.

Joey Mongalo’s high-flying Sharks side came into the game on the back of successive wins against the Cheetahs and Griquas and, by comprehensively beating the Vodacom Bulls, went five points clear in third place.
Hooker Dan Jooste scored a first-half brace to give the Sharks a 22-13 lead at the break, before tries from centre Murray Koster, hooker Dameon Venter and flank Mpilo Gumede sealed the win and avenged the 24-20 loss in Durban last month.
The loss leaves the Vodacom Bulls second from bottom in the Currie Cup, nine points ahead of last-placed Griffons and three points adrift of the Lions.
