Bok trio to boost Bulls

Springboks Adriaan Strauss, Lood de Jager and Arno Botha will boost the Bulls for Friday's clash against the Sunwolves.

In addition, the Bulls confirmed on Monday that Duncan Matthews, Jason Jenkins, Jannes Kirsten and Jade Stighling had returned to full training.

Strauss has fully recovered from back surgery, and could come straight back into the starting lineup, while taking over the captaincy from Handré Pollard.

However, Jacques Potgieter has not recovered from his concussion and will sit out this week's match at Loftus. He is expected to be fit for the tour to New Zealand and Japan, though.

On the long-term injury list, Roelof Smit, Shaun Adendorff and Ulrich Beyers will only be back towards the end of April, while Conraad van Vuuren is expected to be fit in two weeks.

Meanwhile, Luther Obi suffered a concussion in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge warm-up match against the Sharks XV last weekend, and will be assessed after a week on the sidelines.
