London Irish are reportedly set to be suspended from next season’s Premiership and one of England’s star talents has been linked with a move to South Africa.
Reports across English publications suggest that London Irish will become the third Premiership club to be penalised due to financial difficulties this season, following the collapse of Wasps and Worcester Warriors last year.
The West London-based club is, on Wednesday, set to be suspended from playing next season, leading to a scramble for players to secure moves away.
According to a report from the Telegraph, England wing Henry Arundell has received a wide array of offers, from Premiership, French Top 14 and South African clubs.
DHL Stormers coach John Dobson has said that the Vodacom URC runners-up are on the hunt for game-breaking outside backs, where they struggled for depth in the recently concluded 2022-23 season.
One of England’s most exciting talents, Arundell made his Test debut against the Wallabies in Australia in 2022, scoring a try with his first touch in the series.
The Stormers have also been linked with moves for Warrick Gelant and Dillyn Leyds, who could return to the Western Cape after successful stints in France.
