Madosh Tambwe will be among those wearing a European club badge when they face their former SA teams in the Champions Cup this weekend.
Tambwe has been named in Bordeaux’s starting lineup that will take on a star-studded Sharks team in Durban on Saturday.
The winger spent a year in Durban before moving to France after a short stint with the Vodacom Bulls.
Another former Sharks player, lock Jandre Marais, is on the bench for the visitors.

Meanwhile, later on Saturday night, utility forward Jannes Kirsten will look to help the Exeter Chiefs secure a place in the last 16 when they face the Vodacom Bulls at his old stomping ground in Pretoria.
Kirsten, who has been heavily linked with a return to the Vodacom Bulls next season, started his professional career at Loftus Versfeld and moved to England in 2019.

Finally, on Sunday, Mike Willemse will take on the Stormers for the second time this season as London Irish target vengeance for the defeat they suffered in Cape Town in December.
The 29-year-old hooker retains his starting role in the absence of veteran Argentinian Agustin Creevy.
