Ian Foster made just two changes to New Zealand’s starting lineup for Friday’s World Cup semi-final against Argentina in Paris, recalling wing Mark Telea.
Telea was left out of the match-day 23 that beat Ireland in the quarter-finals after breaking team protocol, with Leicester Faingaanuku taking his place in the No 11 jersey.
However, head coach Foster has decided to bring Telea straight back into the All Blacks starting lineup, which includes 12 survivors from their 2019 semi-final loss against England.
The only other change to the XV is rotational, as Sam Whitelock starts and Brodie Retallick is named on the bench.
There is one further change among the substitutes, as replacement hooker Samisoni Taukei’aho takes the place of veteran Dane Coles.
