Springbok powerhouse Jean-Luc du Preez showed incredible strength to score for a SA-packed Barbarians outfit in a World Cup warm-up match against Samoa.
Playing at No 4 lock, the hulking Du Preez attacked the defensive line from a well-taken lineout, barging through several tacklers and over the whitewash in Brive on Friday night.
He was one of three of the Boks’ World Cup standby players who turned out for the invitational team, with hooker Joseph Dweba and scrumhalf Herschel Jantjies completing the contingent.
