The four nominees are:

WILLIE LE ROUX
The winger's out-of-hand kicking skills resulted in the Cheetahs' first two tries against the Stormers and he scored their third. He also ran good lines, attacked the space, and kicked well for territory.

HEINRICH BRÜSSOW
The flanker made a big impact at the breakdown and it was his hand that knocked the ball away from the Stormers and resulted in Cornal Hendricks' vital try with 10 minutes to go.

SCHALK BURGER
Burger made his return from injury off the bench in Bloemfontein and was the Stormers best player during the 30 minutes he spent on the field. He carried, offloaded and defended well.

SIAS EBERSOHN
The best South African player in Perth on Saturday was not wearing a Bulls jersey. Sias Ebersohn kicked well out of hand, and his accurate goal-kicking allowed the Force to build some scoreboard momentum towards the end of the first half.
