Jasper Wiese could reportedly opt to join Japanese side Urayasu D-Rocks, where the Springbok loose forward would link up with former Lions boss Johan Ackermann.
English club Leicester Tigers on Thursday confirmed the departure of Wiese at the end of the season. The powerful No 8 joined the club in 2020 from the Cheetahs, and added World Cup winner to his CV during his tenure at Welford Road.
Wiese will continue his career overseas, and has been strongly linked with a big-money move to Top 14 outfit Stade Francais.

But, according to Sunday newspaper Rapport, negotiations between the 28-year-old and the French club have reached a standstill and the D-Rocks have been mentioned as a possible alternative.
Rapport’s sources believe that Wiese is not in the sights of one of the South African teams.
