The English Premiership Players’ Player of the Year, Jasper Wiese must wear the Bok No 8 jersey at the Rugby World Cup, according to readers.
With over half of the vote, Leicester Tigers’ Wiese is the clear favourite to make his barnstorming runs for the Boks in France later this year.

The bruiser was in charge from the get-go and exceeded the 60%-mark earlier in the poll before losing some traction to surprise runner-up, the Lions’ Francke Horn (16%), who overtook Stormers No 8 Evan Roos (13%).
Roos was closely followed by Bok veteran Duane Vermeulen (12%), who was in the clear from Bulls charger Elrigh Louw (4%), Stormers star Hacjivah Dayimani (2%) and the Shizuoka Blue Revs’ Kwagga Smith (1%).
Wiese’s exceptional season saw him play a pivotal role for the Tigers. With 14 appearances in the Premiership, the 20-Test-cap Bok scored six tries and made 130 tackles, 11 offloads, and 218 carries – the fourth-highest in the league.
