World Cup commitment impresses Tiger

15-time Major champion Tiger Woods got a bit of a rugby education from world No 2 Rory McIlroy, when the pair were in Japan for an exhibition golf match.

Woods, known his dedicated fitness regime that complements his extensive training programme, was impressed by what it takes to go all the way at the World Cup.

The American, who is tied alongside Sam Snead for most tour wins, showed his rugby knowledge as he went on to discuss the British Lions tour with McIlroy, a known fan of rugby and soccer.
