The team welcomed the rise of young flyhalf prodigy Morne Steyn, who added fresh energy to an experienced backline, while Tendai “Beast” Mtawarira proved to be an apt replacement for Os du Randt, and flanker Heinrich Brussow’s dynamic play at the breakdown brought an extra layer of strength to the Boks’ formidable defence.
