Top 14 club Lyon reportedly have sights on boosting their options in the second row with a move for one of South Africa’s World Cup winners in France.
According to French media outlet Midi Olympique, Springbok lock Jean Kleyn is tipped to leave reigning Vodacom URC champions Munster as Lyon seeks a replacement for Racing 92-bound Romain Taofifenua.

Kleyn, who left the DHL Stormers seven years ago, qualified to represent Ireland by residency in 2019 and played at the World Cup for his adopted country, but was subsequently overlooked by head coach Andy Farrell.
The 30-year-old was called up to the Boks for the first time in 2023 under new World Rugby regulations, and has been capped seven times including a World Cup final appearance off the bench against the All Blacks.
