An eventful Friday night at Loftus Versfeld ended with an overwhelming victory for the Vodacom Bulls against the Griffons in the Currie Cup.
The hosts scored 10 tries to the visitors four, in a match halted by three hours due to a power outage in the Pretoria CBD area, and a generator in the stadium, which tripped due to overheating.

Wing David Kriel claimed a hat-trick as the Bulls romped to a 64-33 victory, and exacted revenge for a shock 32-28 defeat to the Griffons in Welkom earlier this season.
With the result, the Bulls climbed to fourth in the standings behind the third-placed Pumas with one round of league matches remaining.
