On 14 August 2004, Springbok centre Marius Joubert scored a hat-trick against the All Blacks when South Africa beat New Zealand at Ellis Park.
In the 40-26 win in Johannesburg, he joined former winger Ray Mordt as the second South African to achieve the feat against the Kiwis.
Joubert’s trio of touchdowns contributed to what remains the Boks’ biggest winning margin over their old enemies in the professional era.
