Dobbo to unleash new Stormers in George

Brok Harris will captain a 28-man DHL Stormers XV squad against the SWD Eagles at Outeniqua Park on Friday, as the Capetonians ramp up preparations for next season.

The clash against the Southern Cape outfit will be the first opportunity for game time ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

The extended match-day squad includes all six of the Stormers’ new signings Courtnall Skosan, Ben Loader, Lizo Gqoboka, Sti Sithole, Hendre Stassen and Warrick Gelant plus a few talented youngsters such as flyhalf Jurie Matthee, centre Mnombo Zwelendaba and flank Jarrod Taylor.

There is a helathy blend of youth and experience across the starting lineup and extended bench, with Harris’ fellow Stormers centurion Juan de Jongh one of five Springboks in the match-day contingent.
