Vodacom Bulls No 8 Elrigh Louw was cleared on Thursday to play in the Currie Cup semi-final against the Free State Cheetahs, despite being sent off in the quarter-finals.
The Cheetahs held out for a 31-27 win over a 14-man Bulls at Loftus Versfeld last week, after the hosts lost Louw to a first-half red card.
He received his marching orders following a TMO review for his shoulder-to-head contact on flanker Siba Qoma at a breakdown.

The 23-year-old has had his red rescinded, and has now been replaced with a yellow card after appearing in an SA Rugby disciplinary committee hearing earlier this week.
He was sent off in the 37th minute of the clash, but the Springbok loose forward is now available for selection to lock horns with the Free Staters in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
