Head coach Joey Mongalo has made 14 changes to the Sharks starting XV to face the Pumas in the Currie Cup semi-final in Durban on Saturday.
Mongalo has overhauled the lineup that was mauled 44-5 by Western Province at Cape Town Stadium in the final round of the group stages in the competition.
The Durbanites had already secured a home semi-final at Kings Park prior to their clash in the Mother City.

Lock Reniel Hugo returns to lead a match-day 23 similar to those which won seven games in a row in the build-up to the playoffs.
Loosehead prop Khwezi Mona is the only player to retain his run-on spot.
Springbok centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg, along with regular Vodacom URC campaigners Phepsi Buthelezi, Werner Kok, Thaakir Abrahams, Marnus Potgieter and Gerbrandt Grobler have been dropped.
Aphelele Fassi has been reinstated at left wing, but fellow Boks Curwin Bosch and Sikhumbuzo Notshe shift to the replacements bench.
