The Vodacom Bulls have already confirmed the appointment of former Springbok lock Andries Bekker to the role of forwards coach.
Sean Everitt, Hugo van As, Russell Winter, Gert Smal, Nollis Marais and Pine Pienaar have all left the franchise. Everitt has been confirmed as Edinburgh’s new coach, while Winter will be moving to Japan.
According to Sunday newspaper Rapport, White has recruited Gary Gold to head up the Vodacom Bulls defence with former NWU Eagles assistant Jean Tiedt also signed to contribute to the department.
The Vodacom Bulls have appointed two defence coaches after losing both Pienaar (Namibia) and Joey Mongalo (Sharks) in recent years.
Gold served as Springbok assistant coach under Peter de Villiers between 2008 and 2011, while the veteran has extensive experience from Western Province, the Sharks, Kobe, Bath, Newcastle, London Irish and Worcester Warriors. Most recently, he was head coach of the USA at the 2019 World Cup.
Meanwhile, the Vodacom Bulls have also reportedly appointed Kennedy Tsimba as their new skills coach.
The Cheetahs hall of famer began coaching as an assistant with the Free State side in Super Rugby and has worked with several schools, club and Varsity Cup teams, including UP-Tuks and TUT.
