Vodacom Bulls director of rugby Jake White has moved swiftly to secure the services of a dynamic performer for the Sharks in 2023 from next season.
Loose forward Celimpilo Gumede, who featured regularly for the Sharks in the recently concluded Currie Cup, will make Loftus Versfeld his new home from 2023-24.

A former SA Schools and Junior Springbok representative, the 1.90m, 107kg Gumede is still a work in progress, but an exciting and powerful prospect with ball in hand at No 8.
The 22-year-old is the latest acquisition by the Bulls following the news that outside back Sebastian de Klerk, speedster Sergeal Petersen, utility back Jaco van der Walt and tighthead prop Khutha Mchunu will ply their trade on the Highveld from July.
