Daniel Kansende replaces the injured Cohen Jasper in one of two changes to the Cheetahs’ starting lineup for the crunch Challenge Cup clash with Oyonnax on Saturday.
Following a defeat against Pau in Amsterdam, the Cheetahs travelled to France this week for the fourth and final round of the Challenge Cup, with qualification for the round of 16 on the line.
There are four changes in total, two of those in the starting lineup. Daniel Kasende wears the number 14 jersey, and Munier Hartzenberg moves to the left wing, replacing the injured Jasper (ankle), one of two casualties from the loss to Pau.
Marnus van der Merwe will start with Louis van der Westhuizen providing cover on the bench
Meanwhile, Oupa Mohoje is recalled on the bench, and Abner van Reenen steps in for Ali Mgijima, who misses out due to HIA protocol.
