Coach Ivan van Rooyen has recalled his Lions stalwarts for the Challenge Cup clash against Ospreys at Ellis Park on Sunday.
The Lions’ Challenge Cup campaign got off to an impressive start with victories over Perpignan and the Newcastle Falcons before coming unstuck against Montpellier last week.
Having already qualified for the round of 16, the Lions will be hoping for maximum points in order to secure a home playoff.
After resting the regulars against Montpellier, leaving at home the likes of skipper Marius Louw, Sanele Nohamba, Francke Horn, Quan Horn, Emmanuel Tshituka and Henco van Wyk, all have this week been recalled to the starting lineup.
The headline change sees Nohamba starting at scrumhalf while Gianni Lombard replaces flyhalf Jordan Hendrikse for his first start of the season.
Ruben Schoeman and Reinhard Nothnagel combine in the engine room respectively replacing Etienne Oosthuizen and Darrien Landsberg who provides cover off the bench
Stormers loan flyhalf Kade Wolhuter is also in line for a potential European debut in Lions colours, making his first appearance in nearly 12 months after recovering from a knee injury.
