The Stormers, Sharks and Lions will be at home, while the Vodacom Bulls and Cheetahs will take to the road as South Africa’s full contingent qualified for the European cup playoffs.
Wins for the Stormers and Lions saw the two secure home playoffs in the Champions and Challenge, while despite losing to Harlequins away, the Sharks did enough to get a home match in the round of 16.

In the Champions Cup, the Stormers will host 2020-21 Premiership winners Harlequins in Cape Town, while the Sharks welcome the ever-improving Munster to Kings Parks. Meanwhile, after finishing seventh in Pool A, the Vodacom Bulls face a challenging trip to take on unbeaten Toulouse, who won the Champions Cup and Top 14 double in 2020-21.
In the second-tier Challenge Cup, the Cheetahs have to travel to face French giants Toulon. The Lions, meanwhile, will also take on a French side when they host Racing 92, who dropped down from the Champions Cup, in Johannesburg.
All round of 16 fixtures are scheduled to take place on the opening weekend of April, with exact match dates and kick-off times to be confirmed.
